A Day To Dream

Today we remember one of history’s great men, Martin Luther King Jr. MLK is one of the biggest dreamers I know of, and was fearless in his pursuit. Although my dreams may not be as great as his, his dedication and courage to work to fulfill his dream of a “country where children are judged not by the color of their skin, not the content of their character”, inspire me to throw away fear and dare to dream. Dreams aren’t easy, and whoever says they just ‘come true’ is wrong. They require hard work, long nights, and determination. However, when you’re questioning yourself as you strive to achieve your dreams, look to people like MLK, and know that it’s worth it.
